Drawings standard first
Each office has its own drawing rules — line weight, viewpoint, solid/dashed conventions, background. Non-conforming drawings draw an office action and stall registration.

Multi-design discount
The same applicant can file related designs together within 12 months and most jurisdictions discount further filings (HK/CN/EU often 50–70% off from the second on).

Hague vs direct
Hague is usually cheaper at 4+ countries; for 3 or fewer, direct filing per country is more flexible — a central refusal at WIPO can cascade across designated parties.
Five steps from drawings to certificate
STEP 01
Drawing prep
Your industrial designer supplies CAD/vector files; Team-E formats them to each office's standard (multi-view, solid/dashed line conventions).
STEP 02
Novelty search
Run a similarity search in target markets — assess registrability and conflict risk to avoid future refusal or invalidation.
STEP 03
File
Direct → each national IPO; international → WIPO Hague Registry, designating contracting parties.
STEP 04
Publication response
Watch publication oppositions, respond to examiner letters where applicable, coordinate national agents in step.
STEP 05
Grant & renewal
Collect the certificate, set renewal alerts (typically 5-year terms, up to 25 years), enable infringement watch.
